Michael Continues His Assault on the HST

This week sees the government move to cut short debate on the HST and in the same vein deny an Opposition motion to refer the HST to a committee for thorough investigation. With this as the backdrop Michael rose once again to question the logic behind the HST and describe its adverse effects on some.

Michael Talks Climate Change in the House

Michael Talks Roads and Bridges in the House

As anyone who lives in Maple Ridge – Pitt Meadows knows there has been a lot of work on roads and bridges in our community.

Projects like the Lougheed enhancements, new Pitt River Bridge, and the proposed (not to mention controversial) North Lougheed Connector, all have a Provincial government dimension and so Michael brought them up in the House.

Michael Addresses Water Management in the House

Today in the House John Slater, MLA for Boundary-Similkameen, rose today in the house to speak about the importance of water and the government’s plans for water management.

Naturally, Michael rose in response to that members statement drawing attention to the current shortcomings in watermanagment especially in the case of the North Alouette here in Maple Ridge – Pitt Meadows.

Michael Asks the Government to Give Local Sports Groups Protection from the HST
